Leaked DCnU Art Showing Typical Costumes or JLA Uniforms?

Upon analyzing the leaked photo from the upcoming Comic-Con international art, we began discussing in TK forums the possibility that these costumes could actually be standardized uniforms issued to members of the Justice League.

Necklines
Excluding our heroes with full cowls/headgear (Batman, Flash, Cyborg) the team seems to share the same downward, slopping neckline. We've seen Jim Lee draw these guys (and others) and I don't recall any specific time that he's used this type of neckline, so I can't chalk it up to art style.

What makes this most intriguing is that Wonder Woman is wearing a choker piece that is specifically designed to mimic the collars Superman, Green Lantern and Aquaman share.

Belts
Like the neckline, the JLA members share a downward sloping belt design (aside from Cyborg). Quite similar to the neckline, it is really curious that Wonder Woman has a metal piece that mimics the shape of the belts worn by the others. Then there is Green Lantern, who wears no belt, but just so happens to have a downward slopping line in the area where a belt would typically be.

No Spandex
Traditionally DC Heroes have worn a smooth fabric costumes. Modern artists like Jim Lee and films like Batman Begins and The Dark Knight have created a trend of drawing more realistic costumes. We could chalk it up to an art trend and move on but I don't think it is that simple.

First of all there is no real reason for Superman to wear armor unless it is some kind of anti-Kryptonite armor. The problem with Superman wearing anti-Kryptonite armor would be that he would stupid powerful. He'd have to be retconned again and that is what we are trying to avoid.

Notice the similarities the lines on each of the suits have. They aren't particularly dead ringers, but they are very close to one another, at least close enough to be the same style.

Boots
Where boots appear, most have a single point at the front top similar to the traditional Batman boot. Aquaman, Cyborg and Flash are the exception. It's obvious why Cyborg and Aquaman don't have the same boots, but what's up with Flash?

Flash's boots look way heavy first of all. Perhaps made of some special material that won't melt when he's trucking across the planet. I'd assume the reason they do not come to a point and instead come to a downwards point and gently slope back have to do specifically with aerodynamics.

Conclusion
Overall there are many many similarities between the suits, and subtle differences that seem to key on the persons specific needs (Batman's utility belt, Flash's boots, Aquaman's sleek bottoms).

It seems ridiculous that they would have to change into a specific costume to do a JLA mission, but it would be a breeze for Superman, Flash, and Wonder Woman (if Wonder Woman even needs to) to change. They are all really quick. Batman's custom isn't that far of a departure from his current Batman, Inc suit, so perhaps the JLA based the costume around their slowest, or most "mortal" member. Cyborg wouldn't or couldn't change. Aquaman's is along the lines of Batman - not a lot of changing needed.

If these are indeed JLA uniforms, it would explain the inconsistencies that we are seeing in Superman's costume between Superman and JLA titles. This could also be said for Teen Titans Superboy and the more robotic Superboy that appears on the Superboy cover. If JLA has uniforms, it wouldn't be a stretch for the Teen Titans to have a special suit standard in place, albeit is less strict standard. They are teens you know!
