Tess creates an elaborate hoax in order to kidnap Green Arrow, and delivers him to Amanda Waller, who tells him that that the government is recruiting him to serve his country. However, Green Arrow escapes before they can reveal his identity.

After Oliver brings Clark and Chloe up to speed, the three investigate and Clark is surprised to find John Jones investigating Oliver's kidnapping too. Clark senses that John is keeping information from him.

Oliver and Clark are shocked when Tess reveals that Amanda is after something called "Watchtower." Waller threatens to kill Chloe unless Clark gives her the names and locations of the rest of the Justice League.

Marvel Comics on the iPad

The iPad is here, and with it Marvel Comics released the first app to allow for instant downloads of comic books. As of today, a DC Comics app is right around the corner.

The app itself is pretty intuitive, though there were some minor hang ups I had. When I finished readin the copy of Amazing Spider-Man #546, I couldn't figure out how to get out of the book.

With the free app you can purchase comics instantly, most priced at $1.99, some even free to give you a taste of what its like to read on the iPad. My personal experience is a good one (aside from getting stuck in a comic). The pages are very clear and easy to read, and on top of that, you can enter panel to panel mode, which is my favorite because I tend to skip ahead when reading.

So with a DC Comics app not far away, it looks like things could be changing in the method we use to consume comic books weekly. Many people already download comics from Torrent sites online, but is it because of a pricing issue, or is it because of convenience?

Personally, I am really excited about being able to buy digital comics rather than having to drive to my local comics store. I do love it, but the convenience of not having to leave my home to get the latest additions is wonderful. Of course, big issues will be purchased on paper, you gotta have those for the collection.

The Kryptonian is back

It has been too long friends. You'll be happy to know The Kryptonian is back. The message boards have been back for some time now, almost a year even. But what of the news? What of the content? It's all coming.All of the content, bios, Smallville guides, and images are saved in a database, and will be rolled out onto the site as time goes by. Why launch before? This site was never about the static info, its about getting fresh content to you daily. That's important!

What's new? We are going to take this site to a place previously unexplored. Social media, become a fan on facebook, follow us on Twitter, procuring exclusive interviews and scoops. We also have a new bulletin board system that is being finished up, moving from vBulletin to Invision Board. The forums will integrate with the blog system, so fret not, you'll soon be able to post comments on the blog and forum interchangeably.

There is so much to talk about, Smallville renewed for another season, a possible Superman movie by the makers of the Dark Knight, numerous things in the DCU, not to mention the MMO that's a comin.
