Eh, you're right. It's hard keeping up with all these LL characters.
![]() Not sure what, if any, effects will recur in Lana after this latest episode. This is the second time with the Insect Queen so I guess the potential is there for something akin to Star Sapphire. But the biggest blow seems to be the 'apparent' end of her friendship with Kara.

Well IRL Viruses don't need to stay in your bloodstream. They can remain dormant in your tissues for years. So Yeah.... that and the original is still in suspended animation.
As for Lucy, her father is too xenophobic to be comfortable with the new her. And what did they mean when they mentioned races in aplural sense? Oh and when do the Heroes kick Mirabai's butt? |

Finally, Gates and Ingle can return to their own stories after NK absorbed the title for the last two years. Behind Palmotti and Gray, this is the best duo tandem working for DC at the moment. Kara is still dealing with the aftermath of the War, making the rather rush decision to focus more on her new home of Earth and her human lifestyle, to the point of wanting to forsake her Kryptonian name and wanting to be called only Linda. She also wants to quite being Supergirl which draws Lana's ire. Meanwhile, Gangbuster and Dr. Light are trying to 'cure' Lucy of being Superwoman at STAR Labs. The lab gets trashed as a spaceship crashes nearby. What's in the spaceship when the pair investigate? Simple: Warning :: Spoiler Ahead! Yeah, this is getting gooood......

Aaand she's in trouble. To start with, Jimmy Olsen proves again why photographers are cool. But when his photos show Bizarro-Girl, Lana needles Kara into returning to action (and also Cat overhears Lana talking to her so trouble's afoot) Kara races to the scene where Bizarro-Girl is holding Gangbuster, Dr. Light, Jimmy, and other civilians hostage. In the ensuing fight, Kara realizes that the craft Bizarro-Girl crashed in is very important to her. Before she can act on that knowledge though, Bizarro-Girl hits Kara with her inverse X-ray vision. Where X-ray vision allows one to see through objects, this type of vision allows one to make objects more solid. Thus at issue's end, Kara literally becomes the Girl of Steel. Yikes! That's no good. Terrific issue.

We get a flashback to how & why Bizarro Girl arrived on Earth. Something or someone is threatening Htrae with destruction and while Bizarro-Lois is chastising Bizarro for not doing anything to save the world, Bizarro accidentally launches Bizarro-Girl to Earth. How Kara escapes from her solid steel encasement is a neat trick indeed. Let's just say she learned a neat trick of two from Flash for such emergencies. With help from Dr. Light, they manage to overwhelm Bizarro-Girl. But Light's insistence on holding Bizarro-Girl for study at STAR Labs reminds Kara too much of her mother's similar actions with Reactron, so she takes matters into her own hands by taking the unconscious Bizarro-Girl, taking her ship, and riding to the stars to save Bizarro World! Another great issue with terrific art.
