Transformers 3 - 4/10.

I didn't get this. Too much destruction with no real purpose, Sam and crew surviving stuff that should have killed them, and what was up with John Malkovich???

Starscream dies, doesn't mean anything. Soundwave died or was it Shockwave? Who knows. All of them look alike nowadays. Ironside dies again and does Optimus and the others even stop to mourn or at least say anything? No, they keep right on trucking.

I'm sorry I wasted the money on renting this rubbish.

A Very Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas - 7/10

I like the Harold and Kumar series, the second movie is still the strongest of the trilogy in my opinion, but I still enjoyed this movie. Tons of drugs and sex and simple absurd randomness like the others, NPH is still strong in this. My first 3D movie in theaters, gotta say the glasses over my glasses was somewhat distracting, as well as the eyestrain from a few hours of wearing them. But the effects were cool, like the smoke, bodily fluids and other stuff. It's not a smart movie, it's Harold and Kumar and everything you'd expect it to be.

Inside Job - An eye-opener. Learned more than I wanted to about how fucked up the US is.

That's not a rating.

I like it because it's both a rating AND proof I apparently understand binary!

Cowboys & Aliens 7.5/10

A halfway decent Western even without the aliens. Biggest nitpick - how exactly does Olivia Wilde's character expect to stop these aliens if she doesn't or didn't have any of her own tech to fight them??

Harry Potter Deathly Hallows 2 8/10

I think I would enjoy this more if I watched both halves back-to-back. Still, nice revealation about Snapes, great action, and the adult scene was kinda endearing.

It was indeed binary.

John Carter of Mars - Quite possibly the best space-opera to hit the big screen since Empire. I've never read the books, so I don't know whether that was a help or a hindrance to enjoying the movie. It's Disney, so I have no doubt they keyed up certain elements and downplayed others, but I was surprised at how much I liked it. Because let's be honest, if you just see stills... it looks ridiculous.

Avengers - 8/10 It's got some cheesy moments for sure, but I was surprised at how well it turned out. Still think Eric Bana was the best Hulk, but Hulk as a character was much better here than in that awful last film.
